PAMLA Executive Director Craig Svonkin says the Sahara is beautifully designed, with the spacious convention center a separate wing away from the noise and excitement of the hotel’s gem-like casino. At the Sahara, you have access to all of the fun of Las Vegas in a terrific hotel on the Las Vegas strip, and on the Las Vegas Monorail line, while having all of the convenience of being just an elevator ride away from your or your friend’s session.
The Sahara Las Vegas is a lovely, full-service, four-star hotel on the Las Vegas strip, close to all of the restaurants, attractions, museums, shopping, and night life of the strip, as well as downtown Las Vegas. Room service should be back by the time of the conference. The hotel has a Starbucks, four full-service restaurants and two bars, and the Magic Mike Live show. And the Sahara is a brief walk or monorail ride (adjacent to the Sahara) or Uber or Lyft or taxi ride to hundreds of restaurants, bars, stores, museums, shows, and natural and unnatural experiences, including Meow Wolf Las Vegas, the Mob Museum, the Neon Museum, the High Roller ferris wheel, the Bellagio Conservatory, terrific Cirque shows and other nighttime extravaganzas (we like O and Mystére the best of the Cirque du Soleil shows, but have to admit that we like KA, and Absinthe, and the magic shows (hello David Copperfield, Penn & Teller, Mat Franco, etc.)! For those who love the great outdoors, the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and Hoover Dam are just a short car ride away.
The hotel has three heated, outdoor pools, and your PAMLA rate includes free Wifi, free parking, free use of the fitness center, and a business center.
We have worked with the Sahara to ensure that our conference spaces will be clean and safe. The Sahara has their own Sahara Cares health program (https://www.saharalasvegas.com/sahara-cares ) to make sure the hotel is safe.
The Sahara Las Vegas is a brief Lyft or taxi ride from the Las Vegas Airport.
