PAMLA 2026 Membership & Conference Payment

Paying both PAMLA membership and conference fees is required for all conference presiding officers, chairs, and presenters.

  • PAMLA membership and conference fees are due for presiding officers once a session has been approved. Sessions will not be listed on the CFP page until the presiding officer has paid their fees (which must be paid by March 22, 2026 at the latest). Should a session not make, and a presiding officer wish to cancel, conference fees will be refundable until September 1.
  • PAMLA membership fee deadline for all participants: June 15 (presiding officers must pay by March 22).
  • PAMLA offers an early-bird conference discount for those who wish to save (until April 30). After July 5, participants will pay a conference late fee. If a participant hasn’t paid by August 31, they will be charged an additional urgent conference fee.
  • After September 1, those who haven’t paid their conference fees may be removed from the program.
  • Conference cancellations will not receive reimbursements after September 1, 2026.
  • PAMLA does not allow virtual or online papers, or papers to be read in absentia.
  • PAMLA membership is typically not refundable.

Note: your PAMLA membership payment gives you membership in PAMLA for the entire 2026 calendar year, as well as two issues of our PAMLA journal, Pacific Coast Philology, and online access to back issues of the journal. When joining PAMLA and/or paying for the conference, please consider making a donation to our PAMLA General Fund and/or one of our PAMLA scholarship funds, which you can do via our online payment system.
