PAMLA Conference and Registration Committee
Are you interested in getting involved with PAMLA, but are unsure how? Do you have students, friends, or colleagues that are itching to be a part of the PAMLA community? Would you like to have a chance to give back to your community, meet new friends, and get a free lunch in the process? Well, look no further than the PAMLA Conference and Registration Committee! We are looking for eager PAMLA members to help bolster our ranks at this year’s 117th PAMLA Conference in beautiful San Diego, CA, which will be taking place from Thursday, November 14th to Sunday, November 17th at the lovely Wyndham San Diego Bayside Hotel. The goal of the committee is to have an email group to offer advice before the conference, as well as help with conference registration throughout the mornings and afternoons of the conference. We may also ask committee members to help out with other conference matters. We should mention that the committee work will not be too time consuming, so do not fear!
We feel that the PAMLA Conference and Registration Committee is a tremendous addition for young scholars, new members, or longtime friends of PAMLA alike because it offers more opportunities for academic service, community engagement, professional development. The committee seeks to reach out to members who want to enjoy and cultivate a friendly, welcoming, and collegial experience that PAMLA has prided itself on for many years. If you are interested in joining, please email PAMLA Assistant Director David John Boyd at [email protected].
