Maps at a Glance

From SeaTac Airport by Link Light Rail ($3)

  • Follow the Link light rail signs to the 4th floor of the airport parking garage and cross the skybridge to SeaTac/Airport Station (8–12 minutes on foot; free shuttle carts also run).
  • Tap a contactless card, phone wallet, or ORCA card on the reader before you board. Each rider needs their own card or phone.
  • Take a northbound 1 Line train toward Lynnwood City Center and ride about 40 minutes to Westlake Station.
  • Exit toward 5th Avenue and Pine Street. Walk northeast on Pine Street to 8th Avenue, turn left, and continue to the hotel’s main drive on Howell Street (5–8 minutes). You’ll pass the Grand Hyatt Seattle and the Hyatt at Olive 8 on the way, so keep going to the Hyatt Regency Seattle.

The Hotel Max (620 Stewart Street) sits two short blocks from the Hyatt Regency Seattle, about a three-minute walk.

Taxi, Rideshare, and Train

Taxis and rideshares pick up on the 3rd floor of the airport parking garage. The drive takes 20–25 minutes, longer at rush hour. Amtrak trains arrive at King Street Station. From there, walk to International District/Chinatown Station and take any northbound train three stops to Westlake.

Driving & Parking

The Hyatt Regency Seattle offers self-parking only, at $65 per night with in-and-out privileges. Confirm the rate when you book. Enter from 8th or 9th Avenue between Howell and Stewart Streets, or from the main drive on Howell Street. Staying at the Hotel Max? Ask for the PAMLA valet rate of $30. For cheaper daytime parking, see ParkMobile’s garages near the Hyatt Regency Seattle. Sixt rents cars from a branch inside the hotel. For more, see the Hyatt Regency Seattle Parking & Transportation Guide.

Getting Around Seattle

From Westlake, Link takes you to Capitol Hill, the University of Washington, the stadiums, and, on the 2 Line, Bellevue and Redmond. The Monorail runs from Westlake Center to Seattle Center in about three minutes ($4; last trains around 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday). ORCA cards also work on buses, the Seattle Streetcar, and ferries. For ideas, see PAMLA 2026 Things to Do / Places to Eat.

PAMLA’s Open House and Reception runs from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Fantagraphics Bookstore & Gallery, 1201 South Vale Street, in Georgetown, about five miles south of the hotel (details and RSVP). A taxi or rideshare takes 15–20 minutes. King County Metro Route 124 runs from 3rd Avenue downtown to Georgetown along Airport Way South in about 30 minutes.
