PAMLA 2025 welcomes scholars and students of German Studies to join us in San Francisco, November 19–23, for an engaging program of panels and discussions exploring language, literature, and film across German-speaking traditions.

Together, these panels highlight the range and vitality of German-language scholarship at PAMLA, from early Romanticism to contemporary film, from canonical figures such as Thomas Mann to new critical approaches in Austrian and German cultural studies.
