The museum chronicles Walt Disney’s life and work through interactive galleries, early drawings and cartoons, original films and music, and a spectacular model of Disneyland, all narrated in Walt’s own voice. About the Walt Disney Family Museum: Find animation, innovation, and inspiration in the remarkable life story of Walt Disney, the man who transformed animation into an art form and forever changed the entertainment world. The museum, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, features contemporary, interactive exhibits in a beautifully restored 19th-century brick Army barracks overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge.
