The 121st annual PAMLA conference will be held at the Margaritaville Palm Springs Resort in Palm Springs, California between Wednesday afternoon, November 6 – Sunday, November 10, 2024 (the conference will open with a Wednesday afternoon welcome event, with sessions beginning on Thursday morning, November 7, and continuing through Sunday afternoon, November 10).
Our PAMLA 2024 Special Sessions CFP deadline is March 31, 2024. Please submit your proposal for a special session as soon as possible: a proposed session either linked to our 2024 Conference Theme, “Translation in Action,” or a session proposal on a topic of broad interest or one that will help us to expand the academic fields explored at the PAMLA conference. If you do not see a field of study or topic on our Standing Sessions list, do feel free to submit your session proposal.
Special session and paper submissions are not limited to the theme of this year’s conference, “Translation in Action.” But if you’d like to touch on the theme that would be most welcome.
Our 2024 PAMLA CFP page and online paper proposal system is open now until April 30. Newly approved sessions will be added on a daily basis. You will need to log in to https://pamla.ballastacademic.com/ to propose a paper to one of our approved sessions.
