University of Portland Director of Studies Abroad

The University of Portland’s Director of Studies Abroad leads the University’s education abroad programming by fostering inclusive access, supporting academic excellence, upholding measurable learning outcomes, and ensuring the health and safety of students, faculty, and staff participating in all overseas programs. This position is responsible for the daily management and on-going process enhancements of the Office of Studies Abroad. The Director provides vision and administration for each stage of the study abroad process (recruitment, advising, pre-departure, while-away, and re-entry), and is responsible for crisis management and communication with University constituents and off-campus partners. Additionally, the Director oversees the departmental budget and management of expenditures throughout the year.

This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position with benefits.
