We are excited to announce that the official schedule for the Pacific Ancient and Modern Language Association (PAMLA) 2026 Conference is now available!
The 123rd Annual PAMLA Conference is being held at the lovely Hyatt Regency Seattle Hotel in Seattle, Washington, beginning on Thursday morning, November 12, and continuing through Sunday afternoon, November 15 (with a fun Welcome Event on Wednesday evening, November 11). This year’s theme, Our Ruling Classes: Culture, Power, Conflict, promises a rich program of panels, roundtables, and special events that highlight the diverse, interdisciplinary scholarship at the heart of PAMLA.
The schedule includes:
- A wide range of paper sessions across languages, literatures, film, media, and cultural studies.
- Special events, including keynotes, workshops, and creative gatherings.
- Opportunities to connect with colleagues and community members across the humanities.
We encourage you to take a look, plan your sessions, and get ready for an engaging and memorable week in Seattle! Stay tuned for more updates on conference highlights, featured speakers, and special events. We look forward to seeing you in November!
