The 2023 PAMLA Conference is being held at the lovely 3.5-star Hilton Portland Downtown hotel, in the heart of downtown Portland, and a very brief walk to the green, yellow, red, and blue MAX light rail lines. The Hilton Portland Downtown is less than one block from the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall and Pioneer Courthouse Square. Additionally, Pioneer Place Mall, the Portland Art Museum, the Newmark Theatre, the Oregon Historical Society, restaurants and bars, and several parks are within a few blocks. The hotel has the HopCity Tavern (open for all meals), a grab-and-go market, all our conference space, and a 24-hr fitness center.
The Hilton Portland Downtown hotel rooms come equipped with air-conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi in rooms, flat-screen TVs, coffee makers, safes, and ironing boards.

- Guestroom Cancellation Policy: You must cancel your reservation 72 hours ahead of time, to avoid being charged.
- There are no refrigerators in the Hilton’s hotel rooms; a limited number of refrigerators are available for rent. Inquiries can be made at check-in and are subject to availability.
- Overnight Parking: Valet overnight parking, with in and out privileges, is available for PAMLA conference hotel guests, at a special rate of $45 per night, a $10 discount from the hotel’s normal rate.
- Short Term Valet Parking: The Hilton price is $29.00 for the first 3 hours, $9.00 per additional hour / $45.00 daily maximum (for PAMLA attendees). There is no self-parking at the Hilton.
