Presiding Officer:
Brian Duvick, University of Colorado, Colorado Springs

Session papers may explore: 1) how different voices of different artistic genres blend to create a single speech-act in modern performances of classical literary motifs; 2) how different audiences receive the singular presentation of these culturally, politically, and historically layered works; and 3) how different types of space—physical, aesthetic, and virtual—affect the performance and/or reception of the artistic piece in question.
