116th Annual Conference - Bellingham, Washington

Getting Involved with PAMLA

Presiding Officer:
Katherine Kinney, University of California, Riverside

In this informal roundtable, past and present PAMLA officers will talk about various ways members can become more involved with PAMLA. Would you like to organize panels in your field for future conferences? Is there a field or topic you believe should have a dedicated session? What about reviewing articles for Pacific Coast Philology or writing a book review or serving on the new committee for the best article published in PCP? Learn about serving on the Executive Committee, the different roles of PAMLA officers and how they are nominated and elected. All of these roles are interesting, meaningful, and necessary to sustain PAMLA as a lively, engaged intellectual community.
