French Voices: voix, oralité, écoute

This session is open to papers that explore the multiple facets of the notion of voice in contemporary French-language literature. “Voice” is defined broadly to encompass the oral / verbal elements in narratives, plays, and poetry. Possible topics include oral literature, reading performance, radio and stage performance of literary texts, audiobooks, dialogs, the plurality of voices in autobiographical narratives, accents and registers, as well as the voice in the classroom.
