Writing Across the Disciplines: Teaching as Ways of Seeing, Making Visible, Reimagining

This session welcomes papers on ways of seeing the teaching of reading and writing across disciplines -- or in specific disciplines -- including designing reading and writing assignments, responding to student writing, designing writing assessment, and using writing to improve critical thinking. Topics may include the following: writing pedagogy, assessment, curriculum, innovative uses of technology to teach writing, theory, faculty development, history of WAC (Writing Across the Curriculum/Disciplines), interdisciplinary collaboration, student learning, politics, research, school/college collaboration, and administration.
