Proposal:

Interns with the Interdisciplinary Writing Program (IWP) at Northern Arizona University join teams of problem-solvers and designers who evaluate student and faculty needs, then design possible projects that include an online segment for independent student work with writing, research, design, and presentation skills.  The student-interns range from 2nd years to graduate students who collaborate with faculty and research librarians for specific disciplinary writing needs. For other projects such as faculty resources, the interns work with the appropriate staff and provide input to faculty from their student perspective. The interns meet weekly, study various rhetorical and business management theories, and evaluate digital tools such as Pearson products.
