Sheraton Fairplex Hotel Pomona

The lovely Sheraton Fairplex Hotel in Pomona is one of our two official conference hotels.  The Sheraton Fairplex is a short drive from Ontario International Airport (ONT)--the easiest airport to fly into--, and approximately an hour from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).  Our special PAMLA rate is: $109 per night (plus tax), single or double occupancy.  The Sheraton is a lovely hotel in a park-like setting, with a great bar, restaurant, pool facilities, and guest rooms.  It is a brief 15 minute drive from the Sheraton to Scripps College (it is not walking distance).  However, the hotel will be providing a shuttle to and from the conference site. The shuttle must be arranged for ahead of time (with the hotel staff) and on a certain limited schedule.

Doubletree Hotel Claremont

The Doubletree Hotel Claremont, nestled in the foothills of the beautiful San Gabriel Mountains between Southern California's dynamic Inland Empire and the Los Angeles Basin on Historic Route 66, is approximately a 17 minute walk from Scripps College (the site of our conference), 10 miles from Ontario International Airport (ONT)--the easiest airport to fly into--, and approximately an hour from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Unfortunately, the Doubletree is almost booked, but may have a few rooms left.  There are still rooms available at the Sheraton (see above).

The special PAMLA room rate is: $109 per night (plus tax).  A PAMLA room block has been reserved for November 1, 2011 - November 8, 2011 (in case you want to come a bit early or stay a bit after the conference dates--as you know, the conference takes place all day Saturday and Sunday, November 5th and 6th, 2011). If you use our internet link to the Doubletree, you will automatically receive our special rate; if you call the Doubletree, please use the PAM code to receive the special PAMLA rate.  The special PAMLA room rate will be available until October 3rd or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first.  Please follow the link below to book your room online.  Do remember that you are responsible for your own room reservation--and if need be, for cancelling your room.
