From Airport to Hotels:

To get to your hotel from Honolulu Airport (HNL), you can:

  • Call and book a shuttle
  • Take a taxi
  • Use public transit
  • Rent a car at the airport, and drive*

*Please note: some hotels charge for parking; check the individual hotel for the fees.

From Doubletree Alana Hotel Waikiki to Chaminade University, and Back:

To get from your hotel to Chaminade University:

  • PAMLA is providing a free shuttle on the half hour (approximately) from the main conference hotel, the Doubletree Alana Hotel Waikiki, to the conference site, Chaminade University. The trip should take approximately twenty minutes. The first shuttle leaves every day for Chaminade at approximately 6:30 a.m., and the last shuttle of the day leaves Chaminade for the Doubletree on Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. If you are staying at the Ala Moana Hotel, the Ilikai Hotel and Suites Waikiki, or the Aqua Palms, it is just a short walk to the Doubletree.

  • Rent a car at the airport, and drive

Do be sure to plan enough time to get from your hotel to Chaminade University so as to be on time for your sessions. It is a good idea to add 30 minutes to your time, just to be sure to make it.

Parking on Chaminade University's campus is free on weekends. Be sure to avoid parking in reserved spaces.
