This 3.5 star hotel (rated among the top 20 hotels in Waikiki) is located adjacent to the enormous Ala Moana Shopping Center (the largest outdoor shopping center in Waikiki, with dozens of stores and restaurants) and just across the street from the lovely Ala Moana Beach Park. It is a brief 13 minute stroll from the Doubletree, our main conference hotel.

PAMLA Rates are as follows:

  • Kona Tower - Queen Bed/no lanai (balcony): $109/night (single or double occupancy only)
  • Waikiki Tower - Choice of King Bed or Two Double Beds/ Lanais (balconies) are available: $139/night for single or double/$179 for Triple occupancy (The rooms in the Waikiki Tower have either a partial or a full view of the ocean, mountains, or city)

All rooms have complimentary internet

Note: There is no additional charge for children under age 17, but if you try to book a room for three the reservation system assumes that there are 3 adults (so please don't count children under seventeen). The room limit is 4 people total, so if you have 4 children you might need to reserve a suite or two adjoining rooms. In short, indicate only the number of adult guests per room.

The Ala Moana is well-rated by Zagat, which writes of the hotel: 

"Away from the crowds of Waikiki Beach", this renovated older tower appeals to those looking to be "close to everything but not in the middle of everything"; it's the "perfect location" for high-end shopping at the adjacent Ala Moana Center and just a "couple of blocks" from the beach, with "updated" accommodations that can be "quite nice" and a "pleasant" staff; P.S. "wonderful views" from some rooms are a bonus.
