2010 Master PAMLA Calendar

Ongoing  Essays from authors received by Pacific Coast Philology (PCP) General Editors, Lorely French (frenchl@pacificu.edu) and Pauline Beard (beardp1@pacificu.edu). Non-electronic submissions should be sent in triplicate to Lorely French and Pauline Beard, General Editors of PCP, Humanities Division, Pacific University, 2043 College Way, Forest Grove, OR 97116. In order to be considered for the 2010 issue of PCP, manuscripts must be received by January 30, 2010.

Nominating petitions (25 signatures) for officers due to Executive Director: svonkin@netzero.com

April 5 Electronic Submissions of paper proposals/abstracts for 2010 conference due (session Presiding Officers will receive emails of these submissions automatically; AV requests must be included with abstract submission to be considered): http://www.pamla.org/2010/proposals
Apr 6 Conference session Presiding Officers begin sending acceptance and regret notes (using the new online system) to those who have submitted paper proposals for consideration, working to finalize the makeup of their sessions.
Apr 20 Final session makeup for all sessions for 2010 conference due online from session Presiding Officers
May 1  2010 PAMLA dues must be paid by all conference program participants (they may also wish to pay the conference fee at the same time): http://www.pamla.org/membership
July 30 Executive Director posts conference program on the website (requesting any revisions by August 15)
Aug 1 Applications for Graduate Student Scholarships due
Sept 5 Notifications of recipients of PAMLA Graduate Student Scholarships
Sept 15 2010 PAMLA Conference fee is due for all conference panelists/presiding officers. Conference participants who have not paid membership dues and registered for the conference by this date will be removed from the conference program
By Oct 1 Executive Director posts final conference program online on the PAMLA website
By Oct 15 Publisher sends PCP journals to members
By Oct 31 General Editor sends PCP journals to overseas members and to institutional subscribers
Nov 13-14 PAMLA conference, Chaminade University, Honolulu, Hawaii
