Special Topic: Violence and Represention

The 2008 PAMLA conference at Pomona College on November 7th and 8th will have as its special topic "Violence and Representation." Several sessions will be devoted to literary and philological aspects of this topic. We welcome submissions from the various fields of philological and literary study, as well as from related fields such as philosophy, history, and art history.

Topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
